Accounts
- You need to be 16 or older to create an account. Younger learners can use the free pages without one, or learn through a parent's account.
- Give true details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
- One account per person.
Using the site
- The free reading, games, library and lessons are for your own learning, at home or in a classroom.
- Do not copy the site's content in bulk or republish it as your own. (Search engines and AI answer services may index it and link to it.)
- Do not try to break, overload or get around the security of the site.
- Be kind in anything you write or share. No hate, harassment, sexual content, threats or spam.
Things you share
When you upload something to Upload & Share, you confirm that you made it or have the right to share it. You keep ownership of it, and you allow tamil.academy to publish it on the site, show it to learners, and make small changes (such as resizing) needed to show it. We check every upload before publishing and may decline or remove anything. Ask us any time to take your upload down.
Our content
The site's stories, illustrations, games and lessons belong to tamil.academy or to the writers and artists credited on them. Tamil literature that is in the public domain stays free for everyone.
Paid services
Where the site sells something, such as live lessons with a teacher, the price and any extra terms are shown before you pay. Live lessons follow the learner terms and the refund and cancellation policy.
No guarantees
We work hard to make the content accurate and the site reliable, but it is provided as it is, and we cannot promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. If we are responsible for a loss, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here takes away rights you have under consumer protection law.
Ending
You can stop using the site and close your account at any time from the Support page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. When a change matters, we will say so on the site, and email account holders, before it applies.
